Breakside Brewery - Slabtown

I've been to all the Breakside Brewery locations, and I think this one is probably my favorite one I have been too. The beers on tap were good. We didn't eat anything (since we had ate earlier) but the service was excellent and the vibes were excellent. Also great music playing too.

We really enjoyed this brewery on our first night in Portland. It is the perfect vibe with a great drink and food menu. It’s easy to order with the QR code and they have many seating options both inside and outside.

The restaurant is still using the "scan the QR code to order" method used during covid. The online menu was not only hard to navigate, it was also very confusing. For a group consisting of one family of 5, and one family of 4, with each family using the app separately to order, it took us over 30 minutes to enter our orders (and not because we couldn't decide what to get). More frustrating was the fact that we would add something and we would go to check out, and items we had added would disappear (both beer and food) because they ran out! This is a pub with a minimalist service format. You have to order through a QR Code. The beer is good. The food is okay. There are many seating options from covered patios to indoor seating one the main level and upstairs seating.

This was by far the best dine-out experience I’ve had in a LONG time. I had the salmon burger +avocado with sweet potato fries, & every aspect was mouthwatering-good. Genuinely friendly service with the perfect mix of hands-off & attentive (option to order via QR code or with a server) Energetic ambiance inside & outside without feeling overstimulating. I already can’t wait to come back!
