Breakside Brewery - DEKUM

Loved this brewery! The bartenders were on it and loved the emo music they were playing! Breakside beer is always good! And the food truck was amazing and fast! Get the crispy Brussels, you won’t regret it!

Beers are good. Service is BETTER. The team here is fantastic. Food is also great. Love the neighborhood vibe. Beer list is IPA heavy. Tough sledding if you're not a hophead. But if you are a fan of the hops, it's a mecca. Did I mention the staff is awesome?

I'm so bummed about the new food menu. We live 2 blocks away and used to go here at LEAST once a week! The nachos were great, and I loved that I could always find a few lighter & healthier options on the menu. The specials and seasonal options were always fun. Blackened chicken sandwich with a side salad was my go to. After the kitchen switch happened we went back twice and decided it's no longer our regular spot, which is heartbreaking. Not gonna lie… I had stopped coming to breakside because the food wasn’t good. Plain and simple. Came by when a neighbor told me that farmer and the beast had taken over the kitchen, and needless to say I will be back. The owner delivered our food to our table and was very gracious. Our group had the smash burger, chicken sandwich, the sesame chicken noodle bowl, the salad with ricotta, onion rings (best in the city) and also had the steak sandwich special. I haven't been here in a few years, and it was good to stop by for lunch. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating. It has a nice neighborhood vibe to it. We just ordered some of their wings special and loaded sidewinder fries. The wings were well made and full of flavor. The sidewinder fries were excellent.
