Hands down the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. As both a commercial and recreational fisherman, I’ve eaten fish and chips all over the West Coast, including Alaska, and I don’t say this lightly, this is the best I’ve ever had. The fish was incredibly fresh with a perfectly seasoned, light, crispy batter that complemented the fish instead of overpowering it. Every bite was flaky, tender, and cooked to perfection. The fries were excellent, and the tartar sauce was outstanding. If you’re a fish and chips fan, this place is an absolute must-try. Whether you’re a local or just passing through
First off these fish & chips tasted amazing, I got the whole order w/ fries. The portion size was perfect and very filling. Great tasting, fried to perfection. The only bad thing was the wait time, from the time I got in line to the time I had food in hand was 1 hour 10 minutes. I’d guess 35 people were in front of me.
The fresh tuna filets are delicious. There is always a long line but we finally decided to try them. It was fantastic! The poor reviews are probably from people who don't realize this "fish and chips" is not the common cod or halibut. This is top shelf fresh tuna filets in a crispy batter. Zero fishy taste, just hunks of real fish. If you know you know. It's walk up service only. No frills but none needed. The price is reasonable They do one thing and they do it right.
The boat is really cute and the staff is efficient and friendly. There was a long line when I showed up, but it moved steadily and pretty fast. I also liked that they have a collection of hot sauces, vinegar, salt, pepper, etc. to add to your food. This is the best fried fish I've ever had in my life.
This is outdoors. You wait in line because it's always busy. The fish and chips is tge only food, but you can get different portions. Prices are reasonable. Canned sodas are $2. It's made as you wait, with fresh caught fish. The fish is very dense, not light and flaky. The batter is crisp. The tartar sauce is excellent and the fries are big, flat and not crispy. Definitely worth a try. There are a few outdoor picnic tables and a parking lot. Open from lunch until dinner.
