Berliner Pub

First impressions were excellent. I was in town to visit and celebrate a friend's birthday. We made dinner reservations and had a nice, big table to accommodate everyone. I love the pub setting and decor with its rustic, cozy charm. The interior is spacious and perfect for groups of any size, whether you're watching sports, dining casually, or enjoying happy hour. I went here for the first time to watch the World Cup and had a great time. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was roaring! Jen did an amazing job keeping everybody’s cup full. She was in the zone! The tickets kept coming and she just kept pouring and serving drinks like a champ! I was so impressed with her ability to multitask on such a hectic day yet still deliver five star service. Jen made this such a memorable experience for me! But also a shout out to the kitchen staff. A delightful German Restaurant. In delightful downtown Renton. With outside seating. Wonderful service. Sports Bar. Family friendly. Clean bathrooms.

Well here is another wonderful surprise. I always try and spend my money in non chain restaurants. Finding this one made me so happy. I had hopes of some good beer and pub atmosphere. But wait, the food is not pub like, it is amazing and a total surprise. The pretzel is so soft and delicious, salad to feed a family of 4 and inhad the pork shank. Holy mackerel was that thing delicious. And the bartender was awesome. She made suggestions, was friendly and attentive.

We used to drive to Leavenworth for Schweinshaxe (ham hock) and this place is much better! Will come back again. It came with a sizable salad too! Definitely shareable. I’m saving some sauerkraut and the pork bone to make a hearty soup later!
