1st off, Mealani was the quintessential host! We were greeted immediately upon our arrival and quickly seated at an outside table just as we had hoped. Mealani made certain we were made comfortable by ensuring our two glasses of the “house wine” (Chardonnay 👍🏼) was available to us lickadee split! Our meals consisted of the Fried Chicken Sandwich w/ Truffle Fries & Shrimp w/Peri Peri, both were delicious. The atmosphere was delightful and we will most definitely return!!! On a side note as my wife has gluten issues Mealani was extremely accommodating and informative, she even made the extra e
I had the Buttermilk Brined Chicken & Brown Sugar Waffle with an over easy egg. An unexpected delicious dish. My son had the Painted Hills Burger which he found excellent. To drink I had the Imperial Guava Cider. Overall it was an awesome eatery and ambiance. Would definitely recommend it for a stop.
Let me start off by saying I love this place. I’ve been here many many times over the years and that won’t change. Despite how much I love this place, I will start ordering differently from here on out. The last two times I’ve gone, one for brunch and once for dinner, there were large portions of the food ordered that were inedible. Not the entire dish itself, but a key element of each dish. For the chilaquiles ordered during brunch, the chips were soggy immediately upon coming out, and the parched eggs were complete rubber and likely would’ve bounced if thrown. Should we have said something?
Nice place to eat on the Fourth of July. Good burger and Coke and enjoy the fireworks. Got the Painted Hills burger. It was a little messy. Beef grilled your way with aioli and pepper jack cheese. There was so much meat juices that the bun got soggy. Might be bad for my cholesterol. Screw it. It is Independence Day.
11/10 seriously top tier!!! The food is absolutely amazing. $15 for a flight is fantastic and every single one was delicious. The pork belly is an absolute must have. Everything was unbelievably crisp and fresh. Honestly, the best restaurant I’ve been to in Bellingham. The cider is the perfect amount of fizz.
